You all know how much I love sweets, like LOOOOVE sweets! I am so happy that my friend introduced me to Cafe Dulce and their amazing pastries especially their green tea donuts! Cafe Dulce is located in Little Tokyo and is in the former Ce Fiore frozen yogurt space.

They have a great selection of pastries, cakes, cookies, sandwiches (Spicy Korean Cheesesteak!!!) coffees (Hong Kong style coffee) and teas. They also have free wifi so it’s a great spot to chill, get some work done and eat something delicious.

This is the good stuff I was talking about! This picture doesn’t do it justice. I wish I took a pic of it when I split it in half and the creme oozed out. Ask them to heat it up for a bit so it’s nice and warm. I seriously told my friend I was only going to get 1-2 bites… I ended up devouring the entire thing. Before you know it, you’ll be licking your fingers and wiping off the sugar from your cheeks and brushing it off your shirt. It is THAT good.

Pretty and so tasty! The cream and fresh berries work well with the sweet donut.

They have a variety of different rotis such as this green tea one. They have sweet potato (my fave!), mocha, coffee, and more. Roti bread has that nice crispy cover on the top and a sweet filling inside.

Other recommendations are the maple bacon donut and their cakes. If you love sweets and pastries, you will go crazy (in a good way) here. I felt like that my first time at Cafe Dulce. I wanted to get a bite out of every thing!

My friend told me about this Spicy Korean Cheesesteak sandwich the first time I went. I was so curious about it that I returned the very NEXT DAY to try it. And yes folks… it’s all that and a bag of chips (chips not included). It’s a perfect blend of sweet, savory and spicy. They don’t skimp on the meat and the kimchee inside gives it a nice crunch. The best part? The bread! I was so impressed by the quality of their bread. It was nice and crisp on the outside and soft in the inside the way a good baguette should be. They told me that they import and use only French Canadian flour to bake fresh baguettes every morning. It definitely makes a difference.

I am a fan. I am so, so happy my friend introduced me to Cafe Dulce. I’ve been raving about this place to everyone. But you don’t have to take my word and tasty pictures as truth (ok maybe you should haha)… Try them for yourselves and you’ll be a believer too. :)
