Yes you read that right. I’m serious. I really could live and die inside of Eataly. When I first set foot inside it, I actually thought I had died and gone into a food lover/obsessed/addict’s heaven aka my heaven. This was my first time there and it was definitely love at first sight. I was a kid in a candy store… I’m sure with all of my comparisons and metaphors, you get my point haha!
Eataly is a large artisanal Italian food and wine marketplace where you can find the highest quality and freshest ingredients (oils, meats, cheeses, etc). They have restaurants, stores and stalls to buy food, drinks, books, decorations, etc. everything that would make your little culinary heart sing.
Now, every time I go to New York, I will make it a point to visit Eataly. I read that there will be an Eataly Los Angeles by the end of 2012! GAHHHHHHHH!!!!
Here are a few pics
Great words to live by! I’ve actually been saying this for a while and when I saw it posted up I got really excited and actually yelled out loud “OMG I say that!” It became very obvious that I was a tourist and people probably thought I was weird lol
Look at all that cheese!!!! I LOVE CHEESE!
This guy was making fresh mozzarella cheese and gave me and my friend a huge piece to have. So soft, gooey and fresh!
Since we were in Eataly, naturally we had to eat at their rooftop restaurant: Birreria. They had a great selection of craft brews and tapas. Reservations here are recommended because it got super packed when lunch hit.
We tried many small bites from pork belly to blood sausages to salads.

Read about my Bossam Dinner at Momofuku. Porkaliciously good!
